The Plaza Art Fair – not your ordinary art fair! It is true! There is so much more – it should be titled the PLAZA ARTS FESTIVAL! Each Fall for the past 80+ years, artists from all over the country descend on Kansas City and transform the Country Club Plaza into an outdoor art gallery. Again this year you will discover over 240 artists from all across the U. S.
What a delight it is to stroll the roped-off streets of the Plaza and visit each booth with its unique offerings and various mediums of artwork. So many different media are used in the various presentations – from crazy creative yard art to exquisite pieces of jewelry to that one-of-a-kind painting to enhance your family room.
Live music at three different stages enlivens the atmosphere, and you will find different musical venues in various corners of the Plaza as you tour the nine square blocks of the Plaza Art Fair. The Plaza Art Fair is also a celebration of the culinary arts. Tantalize your tastebuds with the finest in culinary creations from 25 fabulous Plaza restaurants.
