The History
The history of WaterFire is incredibly unique as it originally started as an art installation. Over the years, it has morphed and grown into an annual and cherished event. Artists send lightened braziers down the Brush Creek. While spectators can enjoy the sights, there is also a large variety of live entertainment: ranging from local musicians, dancers, and fire performers. WaterFire is every year on the first Saturday of October.
